Quarantine measures to be strengthened in Karshi
Quarantine measures are being strengthened in Karshi, the center of the Kashkadarya region.
“Entry and exit to Karshi will be strictly controlled. Activities of some checkpoints will be restored,” the statement of the regional special commission reads.
For information, a total of 201 cases have been registered in the Kashkadarya region so far. As of today, the number of people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the province has reached 119. One patient died. Currently, 81 patients are being treated in the region.
It should be recalled that according to a decision of the Agency for Sanitary and Epidemiological Wellbeing, the city of Karshi was classified as a “green” zone on June 26.
Earlier, quarantine measures were strengthened in Nukus, Bukhara and Jizzakh cities.
