The total number of deaths from the coronavirus infection in the country has reached 42.
A 64-year-old man, living in the capital’s Uchtepa district, was treated for coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, hypertension, diabetes, respiratory failure of the 1-2 degree, as well as chronic renal failure in the intensive care unit of the Tashkent emergency hospital.
According to the Health Ministry, on July 2, the patient was diagnosed with the coronavirus infection. It is noted that over the past 8 years, the man was under clinical supervision with a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. In July 2019, he suffered a microstroke.
“Despite the resuscitation procedures performed by doctors, the patient died of acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure,” the report said.
According to official data, the total number of coronavirus victims in the country has reached 42.
