Special Commission approves list of free medicines for coronavirus patients treated at home
On July 16, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, held an emergency meeting of the Special Republican Commission for Combatting Coronavirus.
On July 15, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev criticized the state of work to fight the coronavirus in the city of Tashkent and the Tashkent region and responsible persons were reprimanded.
According to Kun.uz, coronavirus patients who are treated at home will now receive medicines free of charge.
In addition, the authorities have approved a list of these drugs. The list includes “Hydroxychloroquine”, “Azithromycin”, “Paracetamol”, “Vitamin C” and medical masks.
On the recommendation of the doctors, the above-mentioned drugs will also be prescribed to patients with asymptomatic form of coronavirus, whose coronavirus test results are positive.
The Ministry of Health has been instructed to establish a supply of essential drugs and protective equipment.
