Uzbekistan exported gold for $2.1 billion in January-June
In January-June 2020, the share of gold in exports amounted to 33.8%.
In the first half of the year, Uzbekistan exported gold worth $2.1 billion. This is evidenced by the State Statistics Committee data.
According to the committee, the increase compared to January-June 2019 was 101.4%. In H1 2020, the share of gold in exports amounted to 33.8%.
It should be noted that in recent years, Uzbekistan has increased gold exports. It exceeded $823.9 million in 2015, $738.2 million in 2016, $1.6 billion in 2017, $2.91 billion in 2018 and $4.9 billion in 2019.
