Uzbekistan to start mass production of coronavirus test kits

“Uzbekistan will start the mass production of the set of reagents “Biotest- SARS-Cov-2” developed by scientists of the Centre for Advanced Technologies under the Ministry of Innovative Development. This test kit is designed for the qualitative detection of RNA of the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus, which causes acute respiratory syndrome COVID-19,” the reports says.

The manufacturer of this test kit is LLC “Biotest-LAB” at the Centre for Advanced Technologies. 

“If the need for tests in the country is 20 thousand a day, “Biotest-LAB” will manage to practically cover this need with the production capacity of 500 thousand testing kits per month,” the ministry added.
