Barno Abdusamatova, a member of the Anti-Coronavirus Staff, reported this at a briefing.
“40 specialists are expected to arrive on August 16 to assist our doctors in the fight against coronavirus. Within a month, they will work with Uzbek specialists, render practical and methodical assistance,” Abdusamatova said.
According to her, they all have valuable experience in treating coronavirus patients. The team of doctors includes anesthesiologists, infectious disease specialists, epidemiologists and general practitioners.
It was previously reported that Uzbekistan is considering the possibility of purchasing vaccines produced in Russia or China.
