Car crash in Samarkand claims lives of three people
Tacuma driver lost control over his vehicle on the Tashkent-Nukus highway and crashed into a concrete barrier dividing the road.
On October 4, 2020 at 20:30, a traffic accident occurred on the highway M-37 Tashkent-Nukus passing through the territory of the Akaltin mahalla of the Narpay district, Samarkand region.
According to the Investigation Department, the driver was 42-year-old Z.B., living in the Amudarya district of Karakalpakstan. When he was driving his Tacuma car on the Tashkent-Nukus highway, he lost control over the vehicle and crashed into a concrete barrier dividing the road.


As a result, driver Z.B. and a passenger, 26-year-old N.A., died at the scene. Another passenger, 37-year-old M.S., died of his bodily injuries at the district medical association.

Two other passengers in the car, 41-year-old Kh.K. and his brother J.K. were admitted to the district medical association with various injuries.
On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated by the Investigation Department of the Narpay district DIA under Article 266-3, paragraph “a” of the Criminal Code.
