The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution on additional measures to support foreign economic activity, tourism and construction during the coronavirus pandemic.
As Norma reports, in order to support businesses working with foreign countries in the areas of tourism and construction, to create conditions for the renewal and modernization of their fleet, a number of vehicles are exempted from paying the recycling fee until December 31, 2022.
The recycling fee is waived for:
• Tractor trucks (the production year of which is less than 4 years) that comply with the environmental standard “Euro-5” and above, as well as trailers and semi-trailers (the production year of which is up to 5 years);
• New trucks as well as new specialized transport;
• Vehicles intended for transporting 10 or more passengers, including the driver, complying with the environmental standard “Euro-5” and above.
• Vehicles imported under intergovernmental agreements with international organizations for charitable purposes.
The corresponding changes are made to the Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of June 2, 2020, on the introduction of the recycling fee for vehicles, self-propelled machines and trailers to them.
