State Statistics Committee discloses information on share of industries in Uzbekistan’s GDP for Jan-Sept 2020
In accordance with a preliminary estimate, in January-September 2020, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan in current prices amounted to 408.3 trillion soums, State Statistics Committee reports.
Compared to January-September last year, there have been minor changes in the sectoral structure of the economy. In particular, the share of agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the sectoral structure of GDP (GVA) increased from 27.3% to 27.9%, construction – from 6.9% to 7.4%, while the share of the industry decreased from 29.3% to 28.5%, services – from 36.5% to 36.2%.
In January-September 2019, compared to the corresponding period of 2018, there were significant changes in the structure of GDP, characterized by a decrease in the share of agriculture, forestry and fisheries to 27.3% (in January-September 2018 - 31.0%) and an increase in the share of industry to 29.3% (in January-September 2018 - 26.4%).
