New director for Uzbekconcert appointed 

On Wednesday, the Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov chaired a meeting, during which Anvarjon Tojiboyev was appointed acting director of the Uzbekconcert state institution

This is the second time the leadership of Uzbekconcert is changing this year. In the summer, Odil Abdukakhorov left his post as director due to his transfer to another job. He was replaced by Alisher Jamaldinov.

Prior to his appointment, Tojiboyev served as director of the Department for the Development of Concert and Entertainment Activities at the Culture Ministry. He also worked as editor-in-chief of the Manaviyat TV and radio channel, deputy director general of the Uzbeknavo entertaining association.
