Job fair organized to provide employment opportunities for flood-affected people of Sardoba
In order to provide employment opportunities for people affected by the Sardoba disaster, a job fair was organized in Mirzaabad, Sardoba and Akaltin districts on November 4-6.
During the three-day event, enterprises, organizations and institutions offered vacancies, while commercial banks provided information on taking loans and some supply companies exhibited various devices, mini-technologies and different equipment for people who want to start their own business.
In addition, in order to create convenience and provide permanent employment to the residents of Mirzaabad, Sardoba and Akaltin districts affected by the Sardoba flood, a “Mobile exhibition on employment and entrepreneurship” was organized with the participation of officials of labor agencies and commercial banks in 11 Damas cars.
The event was attended by 87 enterprises and organizations from all districts of the region with 4,491 vacancies. While 3,496 job seekers took part in the exhibition, 812 people were given job referrals as a result of the fair.


In addition, 572 citizens were sent for vocational training, 111 people were involved in paid public works, 270 people were registered to receive subsidies, and 122 people applied for loans to start their own business.
In addition, 1,809 job seekers were provided with advice on labor legislation, change of jobs, vacancies, and other similar issues.
