President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed the Law “On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan”.

The law amends and supplements a number of codes, laws and government resolutions.
In particular, the penalties for the disposal of domestic and construction waste in inappropriate places have been tightened:
• for citizens – from five to ten BCAs (from 223,000 to 669,000 soums);
• for officials – from twenty to thirty basic BCAs (from 2,230,000 to 4,460,000 soums).
Previously, this amount was from 111,500 to 669,000 soums for citizens and from 669,000 to 1,115,000 soums for officials.
