People in Chirakchi complain about power outages for 16 hours a day

In the Chirakchi district, Kashkadarya region, people are forced to live without electricity for up to 16 hours a day, the press service of the Federation for Consumer Rights Protection Societies, which has monitored the power outage in the district, reports.
“Consumers’ demand for electricity is increasing day by day due to the cold weather. The Federation for Consumer Rights Protection Societies of Uzbekistan is monitoring the situation with electricity and power outages.
During the study, unplanned power outages were observed in the Chirakchi district, Kashkadarya region, for 12-16 hours. As a result, the number of appeals by the population is growing,” the report reads.
It was noted that the Federation for Consumer Rights Protection Societies of Uzbekistan is filing lawsuits against the Regional Electric Networks JSC, which has violated the rights of consumers.
