Anti-Crisis Fund to be terminated
From January 1, the Anti-Crisis Fund under the Ministry of Finance will be terminated.
This is stated in the presidential decree on the implementation of the law On the State Budget of Uzbekistan for 2021.
The document says that the unused part of the funds will be transferred to the state budget.
It is noted that in 2021, measures to combat the spread of the coronavirus infection will be financed by funds that are included in the state budget for combating the pandemic and purchasing a vaccine.
It should be recalled that the Anti-Crisis Fund under the Ministry of Finance was created with 10 trillion soums in accordance with the presidential decree “On priority measures to mitigate the negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic and global crisis on sectors of the economy”.
The main directions of using the funds of the Anti-Crisis Fund were determined as follows:
- financing of measures to combat the spread of the coronavirus infection,
- support for entrepreneurship and employment of the population.
