Botir Zaripov appointed khokim of Bukhara region

Botir Zaripov, who has been serving as acting khokim of the Bukhara region since November 2020, has been approved for this position on January 22 at the session of the Bukhara region council of people’s deputies.
The session was attended by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
“I propose Botir Zaripov’s candidacy for the post of the Bukhara region khokim. I am ready to consider another candidate if you have any suggestions. Zaripov has a desire, passion to work. If you support the proposal, we will elect him khokim of the region and work together,” the President said.
The deputies unanimously supported his candidacy.
Prior to joining the regional khokimiyat, Zaripov worked as the board chairman of the Uzqurilishmateriallari association.
