Ministry of Transport informs when Uzbekistan could resume flights to Russia
At the request of the Russian Government, Uzbekistan had provided all the necessary information and is waiting for a reply.
According to the Deputy Minister of Transport Jasurbek Choriyev, regular flights between Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation can be resumed either in March or in April this year.
For this purpose, a special commission of Uzbekistan duly submitted a request to the Russian side.
“All the necessary information on the sanitary and epidemiological situation in Uzbekistan has been provided to the Russian Government in accordance with the established procedure. We are currently waiting for a reply,” Choriyev said.
It was also announced that currently only special flights are organized between Russia and Uzbekistan.
