An employee of the cadaster agency, who refused to take a bribe, has been awarded a bonus in the amount of 10 million soums, the Department for Combating Economic Crimes reports.
It is noted that the Zangiota district department of the prosecutor’s office carried out an operational event.
During the event, the deputy head of an LLC offered the head of the Land Management and Real Estate Cadaster branch of the Zangiota district a bribe in the amount of $1,000 for the approval of topographic photographs of the land area allocated for the construction of a greenhouse owned by the company. He was detained with material evidence.
“The head of the cadaster department promptly notified the law enforcement agencies about the bribe offered to him. Taking into account his active participation in exposing the illegal actions of a citizen, the leadership of the cadaster agency awarded him a bonus of 10 million soums and a ticket to the “Khanabad” sanatorium,” the department said.
