Uzbekistan to expand its external Internet channel, bring IPSS to 1,800 Gbps

Winncom Technologies Corp. has won the bid to expand Uzbekistan’s external Internet channel. The cost of the project is estimated at $25.9 million.
Reportedly, the capacity of the International Packet Switched Service (IPSS) will be brought to 1,800 Gbps.
The main source of financing will be a loan from Aloqabank. It will amount to $19.9 million.
Winncom Technologies Corp. is an American company founded in 1993. It is engaged in the construction of operator networks and the supply of equipment.
