Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree on the celebration of Eid al-Fitr (Ramadan Hayit).
According to the document, May 13, 2021 will be celebrated in the country as the Ramadan Hayit holiday.
The Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of regions and the city of Tashkent, together with the Ministry for Support of Mahalla and Family, the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as public organizations have been instructed to take appropriate measures to celebrate the holiday in accordance with the national and religious traditions of our people, in compliance with quarantine requirements.
In addition, the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, the National Information Agency and other media are recommended to widely cover the events related to the celebration of Ramadan Hayit.
