Coronavirus: Number of daily cases exceeds 300

The Health Ministry reported that more than 300 people contracted the coronavirus and almost the same amount of people recovered from the disease in the past day.

“On June 13, 2021, the number of registered coronavirus infection cases in Uzbekistan is 103,813 (+303),” the ministerial report reads.

For the third day in a row, the daily infection rate is over 300.

According to the Ministry of Health, 130 new cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 1 – in Karakalpakstan, 6 – in Andijan, 9 – in Bukhara, 14 – in Jizzakh, 24 – in Kashkadarya, 1 – in Navoi, 6 – in Namangan, 11 – in Samarkand, 2 – in Syrdarya, 32 – in Surkhandarya, 20 – in Fergana, 4 – in Khorezm and 44 – in Tashkent region.

The number of recovered stands at 99,733 (+317).

For the first time in the last two weeks, no death cases have been reported.

Currently, 3,372 patients are being treated in hospitals.
