Coronavirus cases surpass 105 thousand in Uzbekistan
The republic has updated the record for daily mortality from COVID-19 for 2021.
According to the Health Ministry press service, on June 17 this year, 385 people tested positive for coronavirus in the republic.
The total number of registered cases was 105,219.
On June 17, 123 new cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 9 – in Karakalpakstan, 8 – in Andijan, 14 – in Bukhara, 17 – in Jizzakh, 9 – in Kashkadarya, 2 – in Navoi, 9 – in Namangan, 65 – in Samarkand, 3 – in Syrdarya, 72 – in Surkhandarya, 14 – in Fergana, 3 – in Khorezm and 37 – in Tashkent region.
The number of recovered stands at 101,018.
Also, 4 patients died from the virus. The official death toll has reached 717. It should be noted that the last time in Uzbekistan, such indicators were recorded on November 15, 2020.
Currently, 3,484 patients are being treated in hospitals.
