Gasoline prices increase by 17%
In January-June 2021, the price of gasoline in Uzbekistan increased by 17%, follows from the report of the State Committee on Statistics.
In June, gasoline became on average 2.5% more expensive, while propane – 8.7%.
Since the beginning of 2021, the most pronounced increase in prices was for gasoline (17%), as well as for maintenance and repair services for personal vehicles (8.2%).
In annual terms, the brightest inflationary processes were manifested in rising gasoline prices (38.9%), maintenance and repair services for personal vehicles, as well as air passenger transport (18.8%).
From May 1, 2020, state regulation of retail prices for gasoline was canceled.
