Service check launched against a prophylactic inspector who beat citizen to death in Karakalpakstan

Social networks reported that citizen Bakhtiyar Dauletmuratov was abducted by Salamat Baymuratov, a prophylactic inspector of the Takhiatash district DIA, and he died of his injuries at the district police department.
The prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Karakalpakstan stated that an investigation had been launched into the incident.
It was noted that a forensic medical examination was ordered to determine the cause of death of B. Dauletmuratov. Also, a service check has been appointed into the actions of police officers of the Takhiatash district DIA.
Pre-investigation is personally being supervised by the Prosecutor of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Additional information on the results will be provided, the official report reads.
Earlier, it was reported that in Denau, a citizen had died after being beaten by the assistants of a prophylactic inspector.
