Expert explains whether one can get two different vaccines in Uzbekistan

If a person, vaccinated against coronavirus, has an idea to get another vaccine, it can be done 6 months after full vaccination.

Vaccination with several different vaccines can cause side effects. This was announced by Ezozbek Rizayev, a member of the Anti-Coronavirus Staff.

The expert said that the function of all vaccines are the same, the protein that is attached to the human cell is isolated from the virus, and through this sample, antibodies to the virus are formed in human cells.

“Wherever a vaccine is produced, its function is to produce these antibodies in the body. Some people are asking: “I have received the Uzbek-Chinese vaccine in the first stage, can I get Moderna in the second stage?” If the Uzbek-Chinese vaccine has been administered, then it will be carried out in 3 stages. All other vaccines imported to our country are carried out in 2 stages. Separate scientific studies have been conducted at each stage of vaccination with these vaccines. It is concluded that a complete vaccination was performed only if the sequence of steps was maintained.

But currently, science has no information about the consequences of combining one vaccine with another.

Therefore, we have no right to make arbitrary decisions. There is a risk of side effects as a result of vaccination with several different vaccines. That is why we ask our compatriots not to risk their lives,” he said.

According to the expert, if someone wants to be vaccinated with another vaccine, 6 months after receiving the full dose of one vaccine, he can maintain the amount of antibodies previously formed by a single vaccination with another desired vaccine.
