Uzbekneftegaz to conduct an IPO on the “Toshkent” exchange
Uzbekneftegaz JSC is working on the inclusion of the company’s shares in the exchange quotation list of the Republican Stock Exchange “Toshkent”.
Today the preferred shares of the company are in free float in the amount of 24,312,673 pieces. Currently, the sale and purchase of these shares are carried out on the trading floor of the organizer of OTC trades JSC “ELSIS-SAVDO”.
For the first half of this year, the price for preferred shares of Uzbekneftegaz JSC ranged from 720 soums to 3,000 soums per share with a par value of 500 soums, which shows the attractiveness of this type of shares in the market, the company noted.
“The inclusion of shares in the stock exchange quotation list of stock exchanges contributes to the expansion of the investor base and the possibility of increasing the liquidity of shares, and also increases confidence in the shares,” the company said in a statement.
In this regard, the issue of including shares of Uzbekneftegaz JSC in the exchange quotation list of the Republican Stock Exchange is submitted for consideration by the authorized management bodies.
