EPSILON (EDC): New gas condensate field discovered with forecast reserves of 2.8 bcm of gas and 54,000 t of condensate

On August 19, 2021, following workover and hydraulic fracturing at well No.1, prospective structure Gurchak, EDC obtained an industrial inflow of gas – 150,000 m³ per day.

Three prospecting wells will be drilled on this structure (approx. 5 sq. km) in the short run. The company expects an increase of gas reserves to 4 bcm.

All works are in line with relevant sanitary-epidemiological and environmental requirements.
