Young woman arrested for trying to sell her 17-day-old baby for $4,000

A young woman who tried to sell her 17-day-old baby for $4,000 has been arrested.

The deal was supposed to take place in Samarkand. However, officers of the State Security Service and the regional Internal Affairs Department prevented the crime on time.
 
According to the MIA press service, the woman is 24 years old and she is a native of Kashkadarya region, but temporarily lived in Samarkand.

Currently, the investigation is ongoing.
