Uzbekistan Airways has launched a new Uzbekistan Express service.
For the first time, the company will launch low-cost transportation under the Uzbekistan Express brand. The company has already redesigned two planes to increase the number of seats in economy class by eliminating business class.
The first flight in the new “full economy” format will be operated on August 30 on the route Tashkent – Moscow – Tashkent on a modified Airbus 320, Spot said.
The company has already opened ticket sales on lcc.uzairways.com.
Tickets on the Tashkent-Moscow route for September 13 cost 1.7 million soums (15 kg of luggage), without baggage – 1.6 million soums. For comparison, tickets in economy class on the same route, but not within the Express format, cost from 4 million soums one way (more baggage, more flexible terms of return and cancellation).
The low-cost service is currently available for flights to Rostov and Krasnodar as well.
