Uzbekistan’s resident population reaches 35 million

According to the State Statistics Committee, the resident population of the country stands at 35,000,210 people as of September 7.

The figure increased by over 140 thousand in two months. As of July 1, 2021, the republic’s permanent population was 34,860,170 people.

Reportedly, 17,570,105 of them are men and 17,430,104 are women.
