“It is still stored in the warehouse; in October, the delivery of vaccines to the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan will begin,” a representative of the company said.
He also clarified that samples of the drug released into serial production were sent for quality control to the Russian center named after Gamaleya, as well as to the regulator of the pharmaceutical industry in Uzbekistan.
At the first stage, the plant in Almalyk will produce up to 2 million doses of Sputnik V per month.
It should be recalled that in mid-August, the government of Uzbekistan approved the state registration of the ZF-UZ-VAC 2001 and Sputnik V vaccines produced by Jurabek Laboratories.
“Representatives of Jurabek Laboratories have reached an agreement with the Russian company “Human Vaccine” on the production of the Sputnik V vaccine in Uzbekistan. At the initial stage, the substance of this drug will be supplied by a Russian company,” the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers reads.
