Pass connecting Kashkadarya with Samarkand to be repaired
The pass, which connects Kashkadarya with Samarkand, will be repaired in accordance with the principle of public-private partnership. They are also considering the possibility of building a tunnel.
This was stated by the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a meeting with voters of the Kashkadarya region, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
“To create conveniences, the pass that connects Kashkadarya with Samarkand will be repaired according to the principle of public-private partnership. In addition, the issue of building a tunnel will be studied,” the head of state said.
It also became known that 1.6 trillion soums will be allocated for the improvement of 140 villages and mahallas.
“Another issue tormenting local residents is home renovation. This year, 6,000 applications were received on this issue in the people’s receptions. This is the highest figure in the republic,” the President concluded.
