Renault starts organizing production and sales in Uzbekistan together with Roodell. Spot reports with reference to the company’s press service.

The brand’s presence in the country also includes a long-term local vehicle assembly project and the development of a dealer network.

“Uzbekistan is a fast-growing market of the Central Asian region, interest in new cars is steadily increasing here. We are confident that Uzbek customers will appreciate Renault cars, their striking design, modern technologies and a high level of comfort,” Jan Ptacek, Director General of Renault in Russia and the CIS, said.

Renault will present on the Uzbek market models that have previously proven themselves in Russia and other CIS countries.

The first cars that will go on sale this fall are the Arkana coupe-crossover, the Kaptur city crossover and the new generation Duster SUV.

The development of the Renault dealer network in Uzbekistan will take place gradually, in accordance with market demands. At the first stage, Renault sales and service will be in two dealerships in Tashkent.

Roodell is also a partner of the Renault group AvtoVAZ and in mid-September organized the official launch of Lada cars on the Uzbek market.
