Gov’t may increase duration of paid leave for workers
Uzbekistan plans to increase the minimum period of paid leave for workers.

This is stated in the draft of the Labor Code in the new edition, which was sent by deputies of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis to the Senate.
If the document is approved by the senators and signed by the president, then the period of annual leave of workers will be increased from 15 days to 21 days. Then the minimum vacation period for employees will be extended to 27 days.
According to Article 134 of the current Labor Code, annual basic leave is granted to employees with a duration of at least 15 working days.
