Airplane of Kyrgyz airline makes emergency landing at Tashkent airport
The plane of the Kyrgyz airline Sky KG Airlines made an emergency landing at the Tashkent airport, Aviaspotter reports.
On November 9, the crew of the Diamond DA42 MNG (reg. EX-11001) of Sky KG Airlines, performing flight checks of ILS systems and airport runway lighting equipment on their way from Termez to Namangan, reported about icing of the right engine and permission for an emergency landing at an alternate airport – Tashkent international airport named after Islam Karimov.
A fire brigade was called to the taxiway, and the plane successfully landed at the airport on runway 08L.
Search and Rescue Flight Support Service specialists examined the plane, discovered a fire in the area of the left landing gear and extinguished it immediately.
