Central Bank permits QIWI Uzbekistan electronic money system to start operations
The Central Bank has studied the documents submitted by the Payment Aggregation Systems LLC on establishing an electronic money system -- QIWI Uzbekistan -- in the country.

Following the relevant checks and monitoring, the CB decided to include QIWI Uzbekistan in the register of electronic money of the bank.
Reportedly, Kapitalbank JSCB will issue electronic money in the country in accordance with a relevant license.
The document “Rules for the issuance and circulation of electronic money in the territory of Uzbekistan” will serve as a basis for organizing the activity of the system, the bank said.
