Uzbekistan plans to increase GDP to $105 billion by 2024
Uzbekistan’s GDP is projected to reach about $105 billion in 2024.
According to the draft state budget program, in 2022, the GDP is expected to grow by 6% to about 840 trillion soums ($78.2 billion). At the same time, the consumer price index is expected to grow by 9%, industrial production by 7% and retail trade turnover by 9.3%.
In 2023, the GDP is expected to exceed 972 trillion soums ($90.5 billion).
In 2022, the republican budget revenues are projected to exceed 162.5 trillion soums. It is noted that the funds allocated from the national budget will amount to more than 171.7 trillion soums.
