Young woman detained while selling her 5-month old daughter for 7 million soums in Namangan
A young woman has been detained in Namangan region for trying to sell her daughter.
According to the regional police department, the mother asked 7 million soums for the girl who was born in June this year.
The 37-year-old woman was caught red-handed during the transfer of advance payment in the amount of 3 million soums and $100.
A criminal case has been opened against the detainee under the article on human trafficking.
