Chinese company planning to invest $40 million in copper processing plant in Namangan
The Chinese company Boi Yi Da plans to build a copper processing plant in the Namangan region.

According to the regional administration's press service, the company delegation visited Namangan for negotiations on implementing the investment project. Namangan region’s governor, Shavkat Abdurazzakov, personally received the guests.
The project will be carried out in two stages, with the first phase estimated at approximately $40 million. The entire production output of the facility will be exported.
Abdurazzakov briefed the guests on the opportunities for the project in the region and the favorable conditions being created for investors. Following the meeting, the Chinese delegation inspected potential sites for the plant's construction.


In March, there were reports of China Mining Energy Group's plans to develop copper deposits in the Chust district of the Namangan region. The company intends to invest $200 million in creating a facility capable of processing 30,000 tons of copper annually.
