On December 3, 2021, EDC recovered previously abandoned Yangi Naiston-1 well and obtained an industrial inflow of gas – 120,000 m³ per day. This indicates the discovery of a new field. EDC will continue efforts to increase production.
Shortly, EDC will construct a 12-km-long 168-mm flowline and begin supplying natural gas to the domestic market.
All works are in line with relevant sanitary-epidemiological and environmental guidelines.
