According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-October 2021, Uzbekistan imported 389.5 thousand tons of potatoes from 13 countries for $44.5 million.
Potato imports increased by about 103 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.
During the period under review, major exporters of potato to Uzbekistan were:
- Kazakhstan - 128 thousand tons
- Iran - 127 thousand tons
- Pakistan - 100 thousand tons
- Kyrgyzstan - 19 thousand tons
- The Netherlands - 11 thousand tons
- Russia - 4.4 thousand tons
- France - 616 tons
- Afghanistan - 374.6 tons
- Germany - 66.3 tons
