Statistics Committee names regions producing most food products in Uzbekistan

The State Statistics Committee has provided data on the food production in the republic for January-October 2021.

According to the committee, the city of Tashkent produced the most food products during the reporting period:

• Tashkent city - 9.9 trillion soums
• Tashkent region - 7.1 trillion soums
• Samarkand region - 4.3 trillion soums
• Fergana region - 3.1 trillion soums
• Bukhara region - 2.5 trillion soums
• Kashkadarya region - 2.3 trillion soums
• Namangan region - 2.2 trillion soums
• Andijan region - 2.1 trillion soums
• Navoi region - 1.4 trillion soums
• Karakalpakstan R. - 1.3 trillion soums
• Khorezm region - 1.3 trillion soums
• Syrdarya region - 1.1 trillion soums
• Surkhandarya region - 0.9 trillion soums
• Jizzakh region - 0.7 trillion soums
