Public service centers begin issuing international passports

If the document was previously obtained only in the departments of the internal affairs, then from January 1, this is being done in public service centers (PSC), the press service of the State Service Agency reported.
At the same time, from the beginning of the year, the duty for the issuance of international passport slightly reduced – now it is 1 BCA (270 thousand soums). Previously, its size reached 1.2 BCA.
It is worth noting that at present it is not yet in all PSCs citizens can get an international passport for going abroad.
In particular, while this service is available only in the administrative centers of the regions (except for Nukus), as well as in a number of Tashkent’s districts, in Shakhrisabz and Denau district of Surkhandarya. But by the end of this year, the government promises to issue passports in PSCs throughout the country.
