International passports to be exclusively issued through Single Portal and Public Service Centers from August 1
A presidential decree “On measures to further simplify the procedure for providing public services for the issuance of biometric passports for citizens of Uzbekistan for traveling abroad” was adopted.
According to the “Huquqiy axborot” channel, the system for issuing and issuing biometric passports for traveling abroad to citizens of Uzbekistan registered with the consular offices of Uzbekistan abroad will be integrated into the following information systems:
• information system “Single electronic archive of the registry office” – for information about marriage and family members, deaths, single mothers or fathers;
• information system “Notary” – to verify the consent of guardians and parents, the duties of the accompanying person;
• information system “Operational information” – for verification of the facts of conviction, administrative control, imprisonment and probation, initiated criminal cases;
• information system “Manzil” – to check whether the list of permanent residence of one of the parents in the territory of Uzbekistan has been canceled in connection with the departure for permanent residence abroad;
• information system “Unified National Labor System” – to obtain information about the place of work for the last 5 years;
• “Unified register of social protection” – to clarify the category of persons registered in this information system;
• VTEK software complex – to clarify the category of disabled people of groups I and II.
Until August 1, 2022, the provision of public services through the Single Portal and Public Service Centers will be implemented in full.
The SPIGU will introduce a procedure for monitoring the consideration of applications at each stage of the provision of public services.
It will be possible to pay electronically through a single billing system that keeps track of the amount of the state duty paid for the provision of public services.
