Uzbekistan ratifies the Marrakesh Treaty 

According to the document, Uzbekistan has acceded to the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impaired or Otherwise Print Disabled (June 27, 2013, Marrakesh).

The Agency for Information and Mass Communications has been appointed as the authorized body responsible for the implementation of this international treaty.

The Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of relevant ministries and departments ensure the fulfillment of the obligations of Uzbekistan after the entry into force of this international treaty.
