EPSILON (EDC): New Yangi Arik field discovered with possible reserves of 4 bcm of gas and 64,000 t of condensate

On January 17, 2022, following recovery of previously abandoned Yangi Arik–1 well, EDC obtained an industrial inflow of gas –100,000 m³ per day. This confirms the discovery of a new field. Efforts to further increase production are underway.
By February 10, EDC will construct a 17-km-long gas flowline, and the well will begin supplying natural gas to the domestic market. All works comply with relevant sanitary epidemiological and environmental requirements.
