Labor legislation violated in more than 52,000 cases last year 

The Ministry of Labor reported that in 2021, labor legislation was violated in 52.5 thousand cases. Most of them are related to non-payment of wages, concealment of vacancies, training on labor protection.  As a result, more than 11,000 officials were fined more than 20 billion soums.

The State Labor Law Inspectorate of the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations found out that in 2021, more than 52,000 labor and labor protection laws were violated. This was announced by the head of the ministerial press service Mavjuda Mirzayeva at a AIMC briefing.

In 2021, the State Labor Inspectorate received a total of more than 24,000 complaints related to labor relations. Of these, 14,455 were satisfied and 8,784 were provided explanations. In addition, 16,105 organizations and enterprises were surveyed and 11,963 labor violations were detected.

In order to eliminate violations, 1,000 written instructions and 2,169 applications were submitted to employers, and more than 20 billion soums of administrative fines were imposed on 11,141 officials.
  
Inspections: In 2021, 27,471 (in 2020 – 19,226) inspections and studies on compliance with labor and labor protection legislation were conducted. As a result, 52,530 (in 2020 – 40,081) violations of labor and labor protection laws were identified.

ꞏ compulsory medical examination of employees – 3.52%,
ꞏ training on labor protection – 15.66%,
ꞏ guidance of employees on labor protection – 16,0%,
ꞏ certification of workplaces on working conditions – 4.1%,
ꞏ providing employees with personal and collective protective equipment – 5.28%,
ꞏ investigation and registration of industrial accidents – 4.3%,
ꞏ non-compliance with working and rest time – 1.27%, 
ꞏ other issues – 12.25%.
