A new type of fraud spread among Telegram users in Uzbekistan
Fraud leading to the theft of money from a bank card is spreading among Uzbek Telegram users, a representative of the messenger in Uzbekistan reported.

Fraud scheme #1:
The scammer contacts a user to allegedly purchase the products that the user has placed in the ad. He agrees with the price in the ad (or bargains but still agrees with the price).
He says that he will pay through Click (or leads the conversation to this). The fraudster notifies that the payment has been made and sends the user a link supposedly for crediting money to the card. The user enters his card details and loses all the money on it.

Fraud scheme #2:
The scammer contacts a user from a fake Click profile (with the same name and logo), claiming that the user has won a cash prize.
The user sends him a link to receive the cash prize. Then he enters his card details and loses all the money on it.

What should be done?
Report spam on your profile and block it. Warn your friends about the scam. If you have information about a scammer, report it to law enforcement bodies. Ask @TeleUzRobot for advice if you have any doubts before taking any action.
What shouldn’t be done?
Don’t open the link. Do not enter your bank card information or other personal information.
