Criminal case opened against a judge in Tashkent region for bribery
He now faces 5 to 10 years imprisonment.
In Tashkent region, a criminal case has been initiated against a judge who is accused of bribery, the Supreme Council of Judges announced at a meeting.
Judge of the Tashkent Regional Interdistrict Court for Civil Cases is charged under Article 210 (bribery), Part 2 of the Criminal Code.
It is noted that due to the secrecy of the investigation and the presumption of innocence, no other details will be disclosed.
For information, those found guilty under this article are punishable by 5 to 10 years in prison.
