On February 14, the President adopted a resolution “On further increasing the efficiency of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan and improving the activities of public financial control bodies” [PP-128], the Ministry of Justice reported.
According to the document, from April 1, 2022, the reward will be paid to those who report violations about financial control.
Also, the State Financial Control Inspectorate was established under the Ministry of Finance.
According to the resolution, the software package “Electronic controller-inspector” will be fully launched by January 1, 2023.
It was noted that under the Ministry of Finance, the State Financial Supervision Inspectorate will set up a Construction Measurement Office, which will consist of 40 staff units, to monitor compliance with budget-funded construction projects.
Also, until November 1, 2022, employees of the State Financial Control Inspectorate will be trained in special training courses based on international experience in the field of financial control and internal audit.
From November 1, 2022, it is planned to introduce a system of certification of employees of inspection and internal audit services.
