An employee of Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute arrested while receiving $100 thousand in bribe
Officers of the State Security Service detained the head of the education quality control department of the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute while receiving a bribe in the amount of $100 thousand.
Reportedly, in October 2021, the head of the education quality control department conducted a corresponding check in one of the faculties of this Institute. During the audit, shortcomings were identified.
In order to overlook these drawbacks which may have a negative impact on the work of the faculty dean and to maintain his position, the fraudster demanded $100 thousand from him.
During an operative event, the head of the education quality control department was detained by employees of the SSS and the prosecutor’s office.
On the above fact, a case has been initiated under the relevant article of the Criminal Code. Currently, an investigation is underway.
